I went to the casino yesterday and it started out a bit rough at first. I was getting ready to slide into the next seat when this guy beat me to it. It was video poker quarters and wouldn’t you know it, he popped 4 aces with the kicker for $500.00. I felt sick at first but then fired up, this only motivated me to get that money back. I went to a bank of video keno machines and was feeling really good about the machine I was on. When I heard the song Bad Day I knew I was going to hit. I have hit so many jackpots when they play that song it is unbelievable! The numbers flew up really fast and I did hit a 8/9 for $470.00. It was then time to head into the poker room and I could do no wrong in there. I had Ace Queen and the guy that challenged me had a pair of aces. I was beat (or so it seemed.) The flop had 3 hearts, neither of us were holding a heart. Fourth street and the river also contained hearts so with a flush on the board we split the pot (talk about lucky) I was chip leader when we reached final table with about 17,000 in chips. There were 2 guys who were really catching cards and they were knocking players out fast and furious. It got down to the 3 of us and it was soon apparant that we would be in for the long haul. Since our chip stacks were pretty evenly matched we agreed to chop for 1st 2nd and 3rd place, money wise this made the most sense so we did. I played several more hours on the casino floor and managed to walk out ahead $500.00 so it was another marathon that I got to enjoy
