I played in a texas hold’em tournament last night and had alot of fun. There were five tables going and I went deep in this tourney. After 2 1/2 hours we drew for our seats at the final table. I don’t like this policy because I was already at what turned out to be the  final table. I drew the 8 seat which I actually like (not as well as my 3 seat though) and my position was good regarding the players in front of me. I was the short stack at the table with about five thousand in chips. The top five players were in the money and I was patient. The blinds were at 800/1600 so I needed to do some blind stealing. I was successful several times and got my stack up to eight thousand. Up go the blinds again now to 1000/2000, this is tough when you don’t have a huge stack so when I was dealt pocket 7’s I moved all in. I got two players that answered the call, both of them were holding A K. The flop and turn were great but damn the ace came up on the river and I was out in 4th place.
